Andy Murray advanced to the quarter-finals with ease on Tuesday.

Murray’s match against Marin Cilic was suspended on Monday due to rain.

When the players resumed play on Tuesday, they only played five minutes before they were sent of again.

The first set on Monday was close, with Murray taking the set at 7-5. He then went up straight away in the second set 3-1, before play was suspended.

Murray was frustrated with only getting to play five minutes before play was suspended on Tuesday.

Once Murray and Cilic returned to court, Murray easily won the next two sets.

Murray beat Cilic 7-5, 6-2, 6-3.

There was a lot of debat about whether Murray should have been playing on Centre Court instead of getting delayed by the rain.

In Murray’s press conference he said he doesn’t mind playing on Court 1 and that he doesn’t deserve to play on Centre Court all the time.

Murray didn’t let the continuous rain delays stop him from getting into the quarter-finals.

Murray also said in his press conference: “I actually haven’t at Wimblecond had too many rain delays in my career and hadn’t always delt with them that well… It’s always tough but it’s good experience for me.”
