Revenge Season 1

I think Nolan should have taken his own advice. I’m so happy he didn’t let Emily murder someone, but he went one step too far. If he didn’t go in that man’s house he would be ok. He knew that the man could strike back and his plan wasn’t exactly flawless when he went in the house. He should have known something like that could happen. Nolan is a main fixture in the show. They cannot write him off now. Nolan keeps Emily down to earth and helps her a lot. Nolan is also one of my favorite characters. They can’t get rid of him.

I don’t think Nolan was the only thing that stopped Emily from committing murder. Losing Sammie and kissing Jack probably had something to do with it. Not being able to share her memories of Sammie must have been tough. At least she got to see him again. I don’t think you can hold the kiss against her too much. Her and Jack were both emotional over Sammie and Emily has had feelings for him since she was a little girl. Jack has been drawn to Emily since she first came back to the Hamptons. There is still that connection from when they were kids. Jack just doesn’t realize that, because he doesn’t know she’s Amanda. The only reason he even has feelings for the fake Amanda is because he thinks she’s the girl he once knew. I think Emily has been incredibly strong not to kiss Jack before now. I just wish Ashley didn’t have to be the one to catch them.

I do not like the man Daniel is becoming. I thought he was a Grayson by name alone, but it turns out he’s a Grayson by actions too. I know Conrad is his father, but he doesn’t have to protect him. Conrad should pay for what he did. I don’t think Victoria shouldn’t have caved to Daniel. She’s lost her son to Conrad already. It’s not going to make much of a difference whether she turned Conrad in or not. Daniel is still on Conrad’s side.

Where does this leave Emily and Daniel? I think her feelings for him have been fading. He’s become what she hates. He’s become part of the revenge. Will she go through with the wedding and if she does will it be out of love or revenge? If she wants Jack she has to come clean with him. There’s no way she can have a relationship with Jack when her plan has finished if he doesn’t know what is going on. Jack will just think she chose Daniel. I think Jack would jump on board with the plan. If he doesn’t jump on board he will try to get Emily to come to peace with what happened to her father. Which we know won’t work since Nolan already tried, but she never had a connection with Nolan like she does Jack. Nolan and Emily have definitely become good friends. A few months ago he would never have been able to stop her form murdering someone. So maybe Emily can be convinced, but then we would have no show. So for now the revenge will continue.

I’m scared for Nolan. I hope Emily can save Nolan in the season finale next week. Nolan leads back to Emily, which leads to the revenge. Could Emily’s secret be revealed?
